On 6th July, 2007, a lovely lady made her way across to England from Eastern Europe and even managed to take a ferry ride on the way!
Her name; Absolute Xamba Yoshi&Us.
Her Birthplace; Slovakia
Her Breeder;
Jana Fulierova with invaluable help from her husband, the
equally lovely Mario Zampach. Not forgetting the input of the
youngest member, Janka and the senior ones, Jana and Mario's
parents! What a family!
This showey girl stormed into the British showrings taking 1st Open Bitch, the Bitch CC and Best Opposite Sex at the prestigious National Working and
Pastoral Breeds Championship Show. She landed just 8 days previously. I am not even sure she understands English but that didn't seem to matter!
Many Thanks to Jana and Mario for entrusting me with this very beautiful girl.
Having grown a coat back, Azi was 3rd in Open Bitch at the Midland Counties Ch Show. Considering the amount of lame dogs in the line ups, I am surprised we were placed at all!.She is a very sound bitch who exhibits a strong rear and beautifully converging front, together with good reach and drive. Most of this is not understood by British show people.
Azi has been providing us with lots of challenges at Smiliesam. Her escapades have been numerous, with fences being climbed, wire netting rearranged and roads crossed! She now has her own run, with a roof on it that she cannot climb out of........ we hope. Watch this space!
December 07; Azi was in the last 8 for the Samoyed of the Year, last month, under an Irish judge. As the final four were all males, we think she did very well.
At the SBOL Ch show, she was 2nd in Open Bitch.
At the British Samoyed Club Show, she was 3rd in Open Bitch.
Azi ends the year having been well placed at every show she has attended since being in the UK. We are very pleased with her and proud to have her at Smiliesam!

A highlight of 2008 so far has been Azi going Best Bitch and BIS at the Samoyed Association Show during the first Back to Back Samoyed Open shows in the UK. There was a tremendous entry of 80 plus many 'complimentry' entries. These are normally put in by people who wish to support the judge or the club but on this occasion I think they were supporting this innovative idea as well.

Azi won Res Bitch CC at Birmingham National on 9th May 2009, handled by Penny. Well done Pen and Azi!
At Melton Mowbray Open Show she was Best of Breed and took Pastoral Group 2 in the pouring rain with thunder and lightening as a backdrop!
